In the 1950s the band authorized BC Hydro to use some of their land to install hydro lines, and the agreement did not specify an exact termination date; in the 1990s, the band appealed to the BC Supreme Court and later to the SCC, claiming that the part of the Indian Act under which the agreement was made was not intended to continue the agreement indefinitely. The band released Triumph or Agony on 25 September 2006 in Europe.
